While you might grow tired of something so bold, I love the black walls/high gloss white mouldings combo. This image of Donatella Versace's home is from the dearly departed House and Garden Magazine (rest in peace.)
This hair salon (Thomas Chaise Hair), featured in this month's C Magazine , has a more subtle approach to the dark walls/light mouldings. I like that the large wall mirrors take the place of mouldings on the walls.
I'm planning on adapting the third image for my own home.
