Nana

Thanks for hanging in there with me throughout my sporadic postings last week - my Nana passed away on Thursday. She lived a long amazing life, traveling all over the world, was a killer bridge player... She had an incredible spirit and will be greatly missed.

It's interesting that my very first blog posting, almost a year ago, included a shout out to her, because it was about one of her favorite things: knitting.

The knit vases of Alyssa Ettinger have always made me smile and think of Nana... Maybe I'll finally treat myself to one so she will always be near me...
