An answer to my own question...

Last week I wrote about birdcages, which I had seen go quite mainstream, wondering if they were in or out... I got some great and interesting responses, including a text message from a friend saying "Check out the window display at Louis Vuitton on Rodeo Drive!"

My feeling is, if birdcages are good enough for Louis Vuitton, they are good enough for me!
Love this display - please excuse the poor photo quality -- I stopped at a red light and snapped a quick iPhone pic from my car (since Beverly Hills parking is tough to find!) I'll try and get some better images soon - I love how they have displayed the purses in the birdcages!
