It's for the birds...

I've loved this birdcage trend for quite a while... But while going through my stack of catalogs yesterday, I noticed birdcages in West Elm, Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids. Does that mean it's totally passe? Should I be happy that they are readily available to the public? Or bummed that they are everywhere?

West Elm's version

Pottery Barn is actually selling the birdhouse to the left, it seems that the birdcages are props. They do sell the Nest pillow, which is pretty adorable.

P Barn Kids has these kid colored birdcages - might be worth considering for the nursery I'm working on.

In the bird category, I'm really loving this plate from Pier One Imports - SO cute for some outdoor dining.

Is it cute? Or for the birds?
