Color Theory

While researching another blog posting I'm working on (that I'm very excited about!), I came upon the work of interior designer Amanda Nisbet. Not only am I infatuated with her gorgeous, chic, neutral rooms (as show in the first two images), but also her bold, fearless use of color which is SO inspiring!

This clean neutral living room is so relaxing...

Love this living room - would be perfect for a Malibu beach house.


But her bold colors, oh my! A fresh way of doing pink + chocolate brown.


Love this pink/purple desk area.


The pillows, the window treatments - love it!


I would be soooo productive at this desk.


And this bathroom? The blue color is amazing. And I wouldn't need a mirror with that "marvelous" chalkboard message.
